World Class Training

Our new Factory Delivery Center at Des Moines Marina is located just 15 minutes from Sea-Tac International Airport and 20 minutes from our Ranger Tugs sales office in Auburn, WA.

The Ranger Tugs Factory is excited to offer our customers the option of taking delivery of their new Ranger Tug here in the Pacific Northwest. Ranger Tugs are built in the United States near Seattle Washington, the gateway to the Alaska Inside Passage. Our location allows us to offer our customers the unique experience of cruising the San Juan Islands and areas nearby.

It is simple and easy to do. Just order your boat through one of our authorized dealers. We will build it to your specifications and have it in the water at our Factory Delivery Center when you arrive. Your first full day of training is spent going through the systems of the boat with one of our factory personnel. The second full day is spent on the water with our factory captain who covers the operation of the boat.

Once you’ve completed your training, you’re free to cruise and explore the best cruising grounds in the world (we’re a little biased but they really are fantastic)! The San Juan Islands, Puget Sound, Vancouver Island, Canadian Gulf Islands, and Desolation Sound are all well within cruising distance from our Des Moines, WA Factory Delivery Center.

Then, after you complete your vacation of a lifetime, we will pull your new boat out of the water, shrink wrap it, and ship it back to your homeport! (Contact us for shipping quotes) Our boats are also trailerable for those that would prefer to tow their new boat home.

What a great way to take delivery of your new Ranger Tug! Enjoy boating in the Pacific Northwest with the factory there to support you. Note: It is very important to plan ahead of time due to other deliveries and commitments. Normally give yourself at least 3 months in planning.

 

The Factory Delivery Experience Includes:

  • Safety Kit for your new Ranger Tug.
  • Transporting and launching your new boat to our Factory Delivery Center.
  • Three days of moorage at our Factory Delivery Center.
  • Full tank of fuel and propane.
  • Systems Orientation - Full Day
  • Operational Orientation – Full Day
  • Transportation back to the factory for shrink wrap and loading.
  • Charts, tide books and cruising guides for use while cruising.
  • Factory discount at Fisheries Supply (a great place to outfit).
